Well, well, well, look who finally decided to check in!
It’s been over six months since our last update, and I figured it was about time to spill the beans on what we've been up to. Whether you've been with us since the early days or you just stumbled upon us through a LinkedIn post while procrastinating at work, we appreciate you.
This isn’t some stiff corporate memo; it’s a caffeine-fueled adventure powered by late nights and an unyielding desire to create something truly useful. We’re here to share amazing stories from Irish businesses, people, and trends across the globe, creating a resource that actually helps others.
So, here’s the scoop: the triumphs, the hurdles, and our epic quest to reach 5,000 followers. Buckle up!
Crunching The Numbers: 6 Months of Growth
We’ve had a massive half-year. We didn't just grow; we scaled while keeping the "vibes" intact.

Subscribers: 2,266 (Up from 1,365 six months ago 📈)
Open Rate: 58.08% (Holding steady despite adding nearly 1,000 new readers!)
Click-Through Rate: 7.18% (A decent jump from 6.69% last time).
Total emails Delivered: 45,846 in the last 6 months.
WHO’S READING
Our community is turning into a founder fiesta, which is exactly what we were aiming for (but don't worry, we still adore all of you. It's not always about those sneaky founders hogging the spotlight!).
Role | Then (6 months ago) | Now |
|---|---|---|
Employees | 34% | 34% |
Founders | 22% | 32% (big jump) |
Executives/C-suite | 20% | 15% |
Investors | 12% | 8% |
And a decent spread…
Ireland: 43%
Australia: 16%
USA: 13%
UK: 12%
LINKEDIN REACH
LinkedIn remains our powerhouse. We’ve moved from "testing" to "dominating" our little corner of the feed. Here’s the summary of the 6 months:
Followers: 4,445 (up 65%)
Impressions: 476,417 (Last update we were at 92k for the previous 6 months, so nearly 5x growth!)
Reactions: 5,116
The Good And Not So Good
👍 THE GOOD
Division of Labour: We’ve stopped "scrambling" and started "specializing." By consciously dividing our efforts into Growth vs. Content, we aren't tripping over each other as much and we are seeing real results when it comes to growing the subscriber base.
Strategy > Scarcity: We’ve moved our weekly syncs to fortnightly. Instead of asking "Who’s doing the newsletter this Thursday?", we’re talking about bigger projects and the next 6 months. It feels like a business now, not just a hobby.
Diversified Value: We aren’t just a list of links anymore. We’re doing a least 1 original piece of content every single week, a brand-new Job Board for Irish companies and startups, and our Founders Directory, with lots more in the pipeline.
👎 THE NOT-SO-GOOD
The "LinkedIn Trap": We are still very dependent on LinkedIn. While it’s working, we want to start diversifying and growing our own personal profiles alongside the brand.
The Silent Community: Our WhatsApp/Community waitlist has grown to 300+ people. We have your numbers, but we haven't pulled the trigger yet. We know you're waiting; we just want to ensure that when we "activate," it’s actually valuable and not just another noisy group chat.
The Cash Gap: We are now investing real cash into tools and growth, but we still haven't turned on a monetization strategy. We’re playing the long game, but the "Revenue: Zero" is something we’ve started to think about.
What’s Next? The Road to 5,000
Our "North Star" metric for 2026 is hitting 5,000 subscribers.
The Reality Check: Right now, we are slightly behind the pace needed to hit that by December. At our current trajectory, we’ll land closer to 4,000.
The Plan: We aren't panicking; we're trusting our process and keeping the pressure up. We hope our upcoming St. Patrick’s Day campaign acts a major hook for new subscribers. It’s our biggest opportunity of the year to bridge that 1,000-subscriber gap.
The goal remains simple: Build the best resource for the global Irish professional community. No fluff, just value (and the occasional sh*t meme).

Let’s see where we are in another six months. 🚀
